X Trail
comes with an optional 2.0 Litre Turbo Diesel
Engine.

The new series 3 Nissan
X-TRAIL comes with a new dash and trip meter, 6
stack CD player, Bluetooth and Satellite Audio
controls as standard. The X-Trail
also comes in a choice of petrol or diesel
engines. Whichever you choose you'll get tons of
power, impressive fuel economy and performance
that is definitely not for pretenders. The
Nissan X Trail's 2.5 litre, 4 cylinder petrol
engine features a Continuous Valve Timing
Control System (CVT CS), which constantly
adjusts the valve timing to improve combustion
and optimize performance. This gutsy petrol
engine delivers peak performance of 125kW of
power at 6,000rpm and maximum torque of
226Nm@4,400rpm. But, most importantly, it
produces torque all the way through the rev
range. This is particularly beneficial when
towing; which contributes to why X-TRAIL can
offer you a huge 2,000kg braked towing capacity.
More and
more people are taking advantage of the fuel
efficiency of diesel. For the first time ever,
the Nissan X-TRAIL is now available with a 2.0
litre turbo diesel engine. This energetic power
plant features Nissan's very latest in
common-rail technology and produces a whopping
127kW of power and 360Nm of torque on the manual
model.

The new
X-TRAIL is packed with state of the art safety
features so you can enjoy permanent peace of
mind. Superior control and traction is achieved
through Nissan's Anti-lock Braking System (ABS),
Brake Assist (BA), Electronic Brakeforce
Distribution (EBD) and Electronic Stability
Program (ESP). You'll also find 6 standard SRS
airbags, ventilated disc brakes and halogen
headlights.
The new
X-TRAIL looks as comfortable on the open road as
it does on city streets. With sporty styling,
deep side windows and wide shoulders, its stance
is deservedly assertive. And you're sure to turn
heads - with features such as sleek alloys on
the ST-L, Ti, TS and TL models, halogen
headlamps and finely contoured bumpers.
Riding inside the new X-TRAIL
is a true pleasure. The open windows flood the
cabin with sunlight - especially in the Ti and
TL, with its extra-wide sunroof. The sleek
console and dash is angled for your split-second
driver comprehension. And the interior is packed
with modern features such as cooling/warming
drink holders, a CD-player, folding rear seats,
a removable and washable rear luggage board and
an innovative storage drawer system.
